1. Introduction

Welcome to The Print Shop (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, placing an order (in-store or online), or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

  • 2. Definitions

    • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to any person or entity placing an order with us.
    • “Products” refers to all items offered by us, including but not limited to t-shirts, mugs, canvas prints, photobooks, and other custom printed goods.
    • “Order” refers to a request made by the Customer for Products.
    • “Website” refers to https://theprintshop.co.za/
    • “In-store” refers to orders processed within our physical location in Durban North.
    • “Online” refers to orders processed through our website.

    3. Orders

    • Order Placement: Orders can be placed in-store or online through our website. When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided, including design files, text, and shipping addresses.
    • Order Confirmation: We will provide an order confirmation upon receipt of your order. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.   
    • Proofing: For custom orders, we may provide a digital proof for your approval. Production will not commence until you have approved the proof. You are responsible for reviewing the proof for accuracy.
    • Changes and Cancellations: Changes or cancellations to orders may be possible before production begins. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be accepted. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee.

    4. Pricing and Payment

    • Pricing: Prices for Products are as displayed on our website or provided in-store. Prices are subject to change without notice.
    • Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of placing an order, unless otherwise agreed. We accept Debit cards, EFT, cash (in-store).
    • VAT: All prices are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT).

    5. Production and Quality

    • Production Time: Production times may vary depending on the product and order volume. We will provide an estimated production time at the time of order placement.
    • Quality: We strive to provide high-quality Products. Due to the nature of custom printing, slight variations in color, size, and placement may occur.
    • Customer Supplied Images: When supplying images for printing, you warrant that you have the legal right to use and reproduce those images. We are not responsible for copyright infringements.

    6. Delivery and Shipping

    • Nationwide Delivery: We offer nationwide delivery within South Africa.
    • Delivery Times: Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping destination and courier service. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services.
    • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout or provided in-store.
    • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage to Products passes to you upon delivery.
    • Delivery Address: You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses.

    7. Returns and Refunds

    • Defective Products: If you receive a defective Product, please notify us within 2 days of receipt. We will provide a replacement or refund upon verification of the defect.
    • Custom Orders: Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, we do not accept returns or refunds for reasons other than defects.
    • Return Process: To request a return or refund, please contact us with your order number and details of the issue.

    8. Intellectual Property

    • Copyright: All content on our website and Products, including designs, logos, and images, are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or use our intellectual property without our express written permission.
    • Customer Designs: You retain ownership of your submitted designs. By submitting designs, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use and reproduce those designs for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Products or services.   
    • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Products.   

    10. Governing Law

    • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

    11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

    • We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.
